1. Product Selection: We're here to guide you, but ultimately, you're in the driver's seat when it comes to picking the right boiler and accessories for your needs and property.
2. Providing Accurate Information: We rely on you to give us precise and comprehensive information during the ordering process. This includes answering our pre-order questions and providing any necessary photographs.
3. Compatibility Verification: While we offer our best recommendations based on the information you provide, the final responsibility to ensure our suggestions are compatible with your existing setup rests with you.
4. Payment: We count on you to complete the full payment before we begin the installation. If you're opting for a finance option, please ensure you have the necessary funds or credit.
5. Communication: We value open and timely communication. Please respond to our requests for information and provide feedback when necessary.
6. Respectful Environment: We ask that you provide a safe and respectful environment for our installation engineers and other staff members.
7. Legal Permissions: If your installation work requires any permissions, licenses, or permits, it's your responsibility to secure them.
8. Control Over Utilities: On the installation date, you'll need to have complete control over the isolation of gas, water, and electricity.
9. Cancellations: If you decide to cancel your installation booking, please do so in accordance with our cancellation policy.
10. Understanding Our Terms: We encourage you to read, understand, and comply with our terms and conditions.
11. Finance: While we may suggest finance providers such as Loan.co.uk, remember, we're not affiliated with them and bear no responsibility for their services or any other third-party finance providers.
12. Manufacturer's Guarantees and Warranties: It's your responsibility to ensure you meet any requirements of the manufacturers' guarantees and warranties, such as annual servicing.
13. Our Commitment to Quality Installation: Our installations are carried out by our carefully selected subcontracted engineers. They are fully qualified, Gas Safe registered, and meet our high standards of workmanship.
14. Securing Permissions and Permits: Before we arrive for the installation, please ensure you've secured any necessary permissions, licenses, or permits. This includes arranging for parking for our engineers and securing any necessary party wall agreements.
15. Preparation for Installation: On the installation date, you'll need to be able to safely isolate gas, water, and electricity. If this isn't possible, we may need to reschedule or cancel the installation.
16. The Installation Process: We'll either deliver the materials to your property or our installer will bring them. We'll disconnect the existing system, install the new boiler, and test and adjust the system to ensure it's in good working order.
17. Your Property's Condition: We trust that your property is in good repair and doesn't contain any structural defects. We're not responsible for any damage caused by existing defects. We also trust that your existing heating and hot water pipework is of correct sizing and unaffected by blockages or leaks.
18. Unforeseen Installation Adjustments: If your installation requires upgrades or additional components, we'll inform you of any additional costs before proceeding. If you decline the upgrades or additional costs, you can cancel your order and request a full refund.
19. Combi Boiler Replacements: A combi boiler system might provide a lower hot water supply flow rate than a conventional system. We trust that your existing controller is in a serviceable condition and can be reconnected to regulatory standards.
20. Regular/System Replacements: We trust that any external components not included within the fixed price are in serviceable condition and meet current regulatory standards.
21. Converting to a Combi Boiler: When installing a combi boiler, the system's water pressure will be raised above atmospheric. This might exacerbate any existing leaks or cause new ones to appear.
22. After Installation: We'll make every effort to clean the workspace and leave your property in a satisfactory state. However, dust may settle on surfaces after installation, and additional cleaning may be required.
At Fast Boilers, we're all about giving you the power to customize your package to suit your needs. However, keep in mind that opting for certain upgrades might replace some of the standard items in your package. For example, if you decide to go for a Google Nest smart thermostat, it will take the place of the standard thermostat in your package.
1. Thermostats/Controls: If you're thinking about a smart thermostat, remember that you'll need an existing Wi-Fi and broadband connection to take full advantage of the smart features. Make sure you have a reliable and strong WiFi signal so as to allow smart devices to run correctly. Don't have Wi-Fi or a broadband connection? No worries! We can still install the product, but the features will be limited. It's up to you to download the relevant smartphone app, set up an account, and get the product up and running to enable all smart features. If you need help with this, please reach out to the manufacturer directly.
EPH CombiPack 4: Opting for this upgrade means we'll install the EPH CombiPack 4 control system, which includes a programmable room thermostat and a boiler receiver unit.
Hive Mini: If you decide to go for the Hive Mini, we'll install the Hive control box on the boiler and mount the thermostat on a suitable wall in your property. The thermostat is battery-powered and Hive requires an internet bridge connected to your router.
Google Nest: If you choose the Google Nest smart thermostat, we'll supply and install the thermostat, the heat link, and a stand if needed. We won't install Google Nest thermostats on the wall unless your previous thermostat was hardwired and suitable cabling is already in place.
2. MagnaCleanse or Standard Chemical Flush: We include a standard chemical flush with your system. For a more thorough clean and to improve efficiency, you can upgrade to a MagnaCleanse Flush. This flush is carried out under normal system pressure and doesn't use an external pump. The aim of the flush is to remove stubborn debris and sludge from the system using a combination of bespoke chemicals, high-powered magnets, and agitation equipment.
4. Replacement Pumps: If you have a regular-type boiler and have chosen to upgrade your central heating pump, we'll supply and install a top-quality Grundfos UPS3 pump. This pump is designed for pipe connections with a diameter of 15mm and can be set to operate at different performance levels to match your heating system's needs. However, if your property's pipework falls outside of these parameters, please get in touch with us. We understand that every home is unique, and we're more than happy to discuss bespoke components that would better suit your specific requirements.
